Dear Reader, my name is Riccardo Braccaioli, and I am a crime thriller writer.

My most well-known series features Álex Cortés, a police inspector who solves complex murder cases in Barcelona.

In May 2024, I released the Forensic Series, set in a fictional city rife with evil known as Akeron City. The first book in this series, The Forensic, was featured on the front page of the Amazon Storyteller contest and has been recognized as one of the most innovative and best-selling novels of the year.

Additionally, I have published the Bruno Malatesta series, which centers around an amateur detective. This series is closely tied to the world of rally racing, and it was during an automotive competition that I conceived the idea for it. I was waiting for my father, who was late, and it sparked the story: What if a competitor had murdered my father? This led to the first book in the series: Murder at the Rally Costa Brava.

If you want to know more about me, you can find me on my website or on major social networks. For instance, you’ll discover that I was born in Italy, specifically in Carpi, a town in the province of Modena, though I now live on the Costa Brava and write my next novel every morning.
